- @3A CLOSER LOOK AT THE DREAMWATCH BULLETIN COMPENDIUM
-
- @1 For all those fans of the show that don`t know, DWB is an
- independent publication that caters for fans of cult television. This
- includes Doctor Who in particular because this monthly fanzine
- originally started out as Dr. Who Bulletin.
-
- So what anm I reviewing here you may ask. Why the special compendium
- that provides the best of the first 100 issues of the fanzine in
- one volume all revised and updated.
-
- Tell me more, I hear you say. Well one of the main features of the
- compendium that I find particuarly impressive is the photo novels.
- These include the Power Of The Daleks. Each episode is fully
- scripted alongside tiny photographs of the adventure taken directly
- off the screen every few seconds. I find this particuarly useful,
- those of us who did not catch the episode first hand have now been
- given a second chance to relive it.
-
- The book also contains many other features of note (it is over 100 pages
- long). These include such gems as the original script for "Return
- Of The Cybermen" and a look at the anticipated Who stories that were
- never actually produced. So there you have it. An in depth look at
- all the features is beyond the scope of this article. The best thing to
- is to find and purchase a copy for yourself.
-
- DWC costs around #12.00
